Dr. Mark Shamtsyan is professor of St. Petersburg State Institute of Technology (Technical
University), Russia. His scientific works are focused in the field of food biotechnology, food
regulations and safety.
He is Global Harmonization Initiative (GHI) ambassador to Russia, and Co-chair of GHI working group on mycotoxins, chairman of Russian Regional Section of European Hygienic Engineering and Design Group (EHEDG) and EHEDG authorized trainer.
He is one of the founders of Black Sea regional association of Food Science and Technology (B-FoST) and its ExCo member.
Mark Shamtsyan is a member of the editorial boards of several international scientific food journals.
